Remembering Jayne Mansfield at Cannes 50 Years On

With all the stir and goss coming through about this years Cannes Film festival it makes you realize that 50 years have passed since Jayne's most memorable appearance at the festival. The year was 1964 and it was her second time attending, with her husband Mickey by her side and adorable pooch Galina in toe at every possible photo op Jayne oozed sex appeal while cooling off in the fountain at the Carlton Beach Hotel, twisting away like crazy on the broadwalk wearing a bikini and t-shirt and cavorting around town in skin tight dresses. Where ever she went hoards of people followed, photographers and curious locals alike. Photos of Jayne in Cannes from her 1964 trip are among our favorites ever taken of the gorgeous Jayne.
