Photographer Bruce Mozert Talks Jayne Mansfield

Silver Springs photographer Bruce Mozert is 96 years old and still remembers his years as an underwater photographer fondly. On Tuesday he sat in his studio among his life work and discussed his 30 year career. Bruce made a small mention of the time he photographed Jayne Mansfield. Here is what he said;

"The photos I shot of Jayne Mansfield went worldwide, She was nobody until she came to Silver Springs, and boy did she play up the photography."

The time he mentions photographing Jayne Mansfield was of course at the press junket for Jane Russell's Film 'Underwater'. An event which is now legendary to Jayne Mansfield followers.

In 2008 a book featuring Bruce's work was published titled "Silver Springs, The Underwater Photography of Bruce Mozert".
