Jaynie's Pink Palace Book Review : SEXBOMB "THE LIFE AND DEATH OF JAYNE MANSFIELD"

Sexbomb is like no other book you will find on Jayne Mansfield. It is not a biography like all the others. It is an A-Z of Jayne's life in her own words. The author starts off with a lovely introduction and even describes his own memories from when he saw Jayne perform live back in the 60's. Also included in the book are a list of books written about Jayne with small descriptions, a small selection of magazine covers, a full length interview with Jan Cremer from Playboy magazine on the subject of Jayne, a list of her films with running times, credits and descriptions,  a list of 22 Queen, Miss & Princess titles given to Jayne, a list of Jayne's records, a list of Jayne's television appearances, a list of Jayne's theatre appearances and at the end a very short time line of the major occurrences in Jayne's life. This is defiantly a wonderful book to have because to add to all the amazing features I just mentioned above, the book is filled to the brim with wonderful and very rare images of Jayne. This book is probably the closest to a photography book on Jayne there is, even though the pages aren't glossy, its not hardcover and all the photos are in black and white. Sexbomb was originally released in dutch and later translated into English, of course something I sure am glad happened.

Sexbomb can sometimes be a little pricey, however if you keep an eye out it can also sometimes be cheap. I suggest you grab yourself a copy if you don't already have one.
