New Jayne Mansfield Documentary Gets Release

Hi guys, I just wanted to update you on some exciting piece of information. Remember about a year or so ago when we teased about an upcoming French documentary we had discovered was in the works from a french casting call looking for actresses to appear in a Jayne Mansfield documentary? Well that documentary is finally upon us. The documentary is titled Jayne Mansfield La Tragedie d'une Blonde (The Tragedy of a Blonde). The documentary takes on a new concept never explored before. In La Tragedie d'une Blonde women are interviewed and are asked to interpret the life of Jayne Mansfield, comparing their own lives with the life of Jayne Mansfield. The whole thing sounds very interesting. I am not sure what kind of release the film will be having, whether it is aired on French TV, or shared online anywhere. However I do know that French fans can attend the premier of the film on Monday the 2nd of March at 7.30pm in Paris.

For fans who are disappointed that the film is in French do not fret for Mamie Van Doren has teased us with photographs taken during the filming of another new Jayne Mansfield documentary. Which has many Jayne fans abuzz with excitement. We will keep you updated with that one once we know more.
